PowerPoint to PDF: questions and answers

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is converted by code running in your own browser tab. The page is locked so it cannot send data to any server, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.

What is included?

Every slide that is not hidden, with its theme colours, backgrounds, pictures, shapes, tables, charts (bar, column, line, area, pie, doughnut and scatter), bullets and numbering. SmartArt diagrams, videos and animations are not drawn; the result note says how many were left out. Fonts are matched to the closest standard PDF font.

Can I convert old .ppt files?

Open them in PowerPoint or LibreOffice Impress and save them as .pptx first.
