PDF to PowerPoint: questions and answers

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened and changed by code running in your own browser tab. The page is locked so it cannot send data to any server, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.

Can I edit the text on the slides?

Yes. By default each line of text becomes a text box in the same place, font, size and colour, over a picture of the page's pictures and shapes. Scanned pages stay a single picture. Rotated text such as diagonal watermarks is left out; choose "Part of the picture" to keep every page exactly as it looks, or if some text shows twice.
