No. The PDF is opened and changed by code running in your own browser tab. The page is locked so it cannot send data to any server, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.

What do {page} and {total} do?

They are replaced on each page: "Page {page} of {total}" becomes "Page 3 of 10".
